CFCC Week 1 Game Form Live!

CFCC 2026 is about to get real! But not until Labor Day Weekend. However, we did take mercy on everyone and launch the Week 1 game form early so if you can't wait to get some action on the board, you can all get to it! Remember, there are games this Saturday (August 29), but the CFCC doesn't get going until the games of Saturday, September 5. The Week 1 game form closes at 11 AM CDT on Saturday, September 5. And we can't wait to see all of your brilliant selections.

If you are new to dirty-dawg, the concept is pretty simple. We give you 15 games. You select a winner for each game and put a confidence value from 1 to 15 on each game, using each confidence factor once and only once. Put your 15 on the game that you know can't go wrong. Put your 1 on the game you are most worried about getting the winning team correct. Then kick back and enjoy the games. Or not, depending on how your selections go.

This week's blue ribbon for new player recruitment goes to Becca Darish, commish for the CFCC group, "GEN ZFP". The far majority of new players so far this pre-season have signed-up and then hopped on the GEN ZFP bus where Becca has loaded up 13 players so far in her group. We could use that same kind of leadership and motivation from the rest of you! Thanks, Becca!!

And speaking of groups, as of this writing we are up to 23 CFCC groups and 9 PFCC groups. Those numbers typically multiply rapidly as we approach the Week 1 deadlines, but remember groups can be created, populated and have players unceremoniously removed until about halfway through the contests. 

When it comes to group names, we can always count on some clever entries into the field, but Jon Zeitler usually leads the way. He hasn't disappointed this year coming in with NIL Chance of Winning in CFCC play and Tony's Barefoot OWIes in the PFCC. You can read the group descriptions for context. For those of you waiting on the PFCC Week 1 game form, we will also have that posted sometime next week (week of August 30), which will also allow for 10 days or so to get those brilliant, always-so-easy, Week 1 PFCC game selections in the hopper.
